You'll build a strong foundation in the sciences and skills that underpin pharmacy practice — starting with medical terminology and human anatomy and physiology, then moving into pharmacology, pharmacy calculations and ethics and safety in pharmacy practice. You'll develop the technical expertise to work accurately in a dispensary environment through two dedicated Community Pharmacy Dispensing modules, as well as specialized training in pharmacy compounding and medical devices used in pharmacy practice.

Beyond the technical, you'll develop the communication and collaboration skills essential for working alongside pharmacists, healthcare teams and patients — with dedicated modules in professional communication and collaboration, and computer skills designed for a modern pharmacy environment. You'll also complete First Aid and CPR certification, and a Career Development module to prepare you for your job search.

Put your training into practice through a 150-hour supervised practicum placement in a real pharmacy setting, where you'll work alongside experienced professionals and apply everything you've learned.
